In July 2021, the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron at Al Udeid AB, Qatar, began preparing to support a potential noncombatant evacuation operation for refugees from Afghanistan. The operation quickly became the largest humanitarian airlift in history, as airmen worked to establish and maintain critical infrastructure to receive, process, and house over 57,000 Afghan evacuees. This webinar will feature Capt. Jenee Jagoda, P.E., PMP, USAF, who was deployed to Al Udeid and was directly involved in the Afghanistan Noncombatant Evacuation Operation efforts as a member of the Emergency Operations Center.
